Production Architect
AD&V® is looking for a Production Architect to join our growing and talented Production Team. This person will be an integral member of our architectural team evaluating, modifying, and developing production drawings and construction documents. You have a Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in Architecture.
You possess strong organizational, graphic, written, and verbal communication skills.
You have demonstrated experience in and readiness to lead the technical details of projects.
You have the ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts internally and externally.
You have the ability to work on multiple projects and manage project priorities.
You have proficiency in REVIT.
You possess an active architectural license from U.S. jurisdiction.
You have strong leadership skills.
You are bilingual: English and Spanish.
You have an excellent working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures.
You have the ability to understand how buildings are constructed and to create technical documents that succinctly describe the work to be done.
You possess strong computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite.

This is a Full-Time position in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Your responsibilities will include…
Lead/assist project team in development of the aesthetic and technical design solutions and in the preparation of architectural design and construction documents including drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with or serves as the Project Designer.
Develop construction documents with minimal supervision.
Manage drawing and BIM modeling efforts.
Develop checks, and coordinate technical aspects of the project design.
Prepare code reviews for Building and Life Safety.
Coordinate with consulting engineer’s documents and specifications.
Follow and focus on established AD&V® standards for project production and review.
Keep Project Manager and Principal-in-Charge informed of progress or need for assistance.
Supervise and mentor assigned staff.
